Beirut International Women Film Festival Is Back For Its Sixth Edition

Beirut International Women Film Festival is coming back for its sixth edition to celebrate successful women from all over the world who are rocking the film industry.

Celebrated in the month of March under the theme of “Women in Leadership,” the festival showcases amazing films directed by local and foreign female filmmakers in multiple categories, including documentaries, fiction, animation, and dance.

After honoring TV actress Takla Chamoun in its fifth edition, this year’s festival will honor the talents of beloved Lebanese actress Randa Kaady with the Tanit Prime Award in its opening ceremony on March 5th at Casino Du Libon.

The festival includes a lineup of films from Lebanon and all over the world, including Sudan, Jordan, Iran, Tunisia, Ethiopia, Spain, Germany, and Switzerland. The films will be screened at ABC Dbayeh’s Grand Cinemas starting March 6th until the 10th – and all tickets are free of charge!

Gender-related panel discussions, events, and workshops are also set to take place throughout the festival. For the full 2023 program, click here.
