Lebanon Postpones Daylight Savings Time

On today’s episode of absurd news in Lebanon, the Government Commissioner of the Council of Ministers just announced that daylight savings is going to be postponed a whole month…no, this is not a joke.

Plz tell me this is a joke.

Instead of daylight saving time starting on Sunday, March 26th, 2023, it will exceptionally start on Thursday, April 20th, 2023. Did you know that they could do that? We didn’t.

Does this mean we’ll be spending the rest of the month confused every time show up early to work? Do we reset the clock on our phones/laptops/etc. until it’s time for Lebanese daylight savings in April? So many questions.
