Elias Bou Saab’s Bodyguard Attacks Woman For Criticizing Him
Just another day of free speech here in Lebanon…
Earlier today, a Lebanese woman was attacked in front of Beirut Justice Palace after criticizing former minister and current member of parliament Elias Bou Saab.
She called Bou Saab a “thief” after which his bodyguard came storming at her, threatening to “cut her tongue off” and forcing her to keep quiet.
A video of the confrontation was caught on camera and went viral on social media, causing outrage among the Lebanese public who have had it with idolizing politicians and terrorizing those who dare to speak out.
In response to the incident, a hashtag that reads “Bou Saab is a thief” is currently trending on Twitter.
