A glimpse into Damascus’ new blood of ethnic and jazz music scene, playing to guitarist Amr Hammour’s original compositions.
The Amr Hammour Band was established in 2002 when guitarist, composer and arranger Amr Hammour gathered the band together in Damascus. Since then the four musicians have been performing regularly in festivals and gigs throughout the Middle-East.
Through-out the years the band’s personality was developed to a higher understanding of groove through improvisation.
Recently Amr Hammour is involving ethnic music with his compositions which makes a nice experimental mixture
