« Road safety » main objective of YASA, LASSA and AutoXpert s.a.l. partnership

YASA (Youth Awareness for Social Awareness) and LASSA (The Lebanese Association for School Safety Awareness) have announced signing a partnership cooperation with autoXpert s.a.l, the exclusive distributor of the Brilliance brand for passengers’ cars and the Jinbei brand for minibuses and Cargo Vans in Lebanon, aiming to promote road safety and improve standards of school transportation in order to ensure a secure trip to and from school.

Within this framework, YASA founder Mr. Ziad Akl mentioned that this partnership is based on both mutual trust and common views, aiming at maximizing road safety and raising awareness regarding the importance of public transportation safety. He continued saying that “through this partnership, and the efforts of the government, municipalities and institutions of civil society, we would be able to fight against road crashes while maximizing awareness about the safety of vehicles on the road.”

LASSA President Mr. Joe Daccache, highlighted the importance of this partnership to promote safety culture among school principals, parents committee, bus drivers, parents and students, to choose school buses that integrate all the safety features and requirements. He also stressed the important role of schools management in raising the awareness in this regard, thus offering the best to students so that they will not be the last schools to adopt school buses meeting latest and modern safety measures.

AutoXpert’s General Manager Mr. Walid Kerbage confirmed that this partnership is the result of the company’s strategic objective toward improving road safety and falls within the framework of a national awareness campaign launched in collaboration with YASSA and LASSA; a campaign that came into effect by introducing the school safety transportation guideline and providing holistic solutions for ultimate transportation with standard buses enjoying safety and comfort equipments. In addition, the company is offering financing facilities and highest trade-in value against old buses’ replacement so safety becomes accessible to everyone.
