Susperregui ou l’énigme de la déchirure

Jean-Bernard Susperregui, was born in 1952 in Paris. He lives and works in Seine-et-Marne, in France. Self-taught, he made his first sculptures in 1969. “From his master Marino Di Teana, Jean-Bernard Susperregui learned the importance of the void, and of patience. Like the Italian sculptor, he knows by opposing two masses, how to give them almost a palpable density range. Like him, he has resisted the lure of fashion, and knew how to slowly build a work of art. ”But the student was free to go into new and unexpected directions” wrote Harry Bellet.
