Video: This Dancing Parrot Will Make Your Day

This parrot’s response to his family singing to him is to start dancing, and it’s the cutest video you’ll see today.

In a video posted by Bruna Smaira on Instagram, the peach-faced lovebird Bello was sitting casually on someone’s shoe when his family started singing to him. Instead of just listening, he turns around and starts to yhez tizo to the music.

You can watch the video here:

It’s hilarious how quickly he gets into it. The second his family starts singing, Bello turns around and starts dancing like he’s been waiting for his cue.

This parrot species is native to southwestern Africa. They’re known for their bright green bodies, peach-colored faces, and very social personalities. Despite their small size, lovebirds are active, playful, and highly intelligent birds.

They can form strong bonds with their owners and often become very expressive around people they’re comfortable with.

They also love interacting with sounds, which might explain why Bello is so quick to join in when his family starts singing.
