12:00pm -> 7:00pm
Art Factum Gallery
Tanya Traboulsi is an Austrian-born Lebanese photographer who spent her childhood traveling back and forth between the two countries. While in Austria, she completed high school and graduated from university with a diploma in fashion design. Soon
after, she returned to Lebanon, where she started developing a growing interest in photography. She is currently based in Beirut.

Tanya describes her work as a documentation of emotions and intimacy. In her photographs, she seeks to create a trigger for thoughts or moods, and encourages her audience to formulate its own interpretation.

Her body of work documenting the Lebanese alternative music scene was assembled in the 2010 publication “Untitled Tracks: On Alternative Music in Beirut”.

She is represented by Art Factum Gallery in Beirut and will be holding an exhibition there entitled From A Distance from September 12 to October 19.
