Stuff We Love

Our Favorite Shopify Stores in Lebanon

Lebanon has thousands of live Shopify stores, a number that continues to grow by the month. But the ones we care about are the homegrown operations: the stores started by people who looked at Lebanon’s logistics nightmare and its currency chaos, and somehow made it work.

Here are 10 of our favorites.

1. Feel22

What they do: Beauty e-commerce: makeup, skincare, haircare, perfume

Feel22 is basically the reason half of Beirut stopped panic-buying from Sephora every time someone flew to Dubai. They were one of the first beauty e-commerce platforms in the country, and now they’re the biggest serving over 100,000 customers, 400+ brands, and 20,000 products. They’ve expanded to Iraq and Egypt, with more regions to come soon. The gift wrapping is a nice touch and the free returns are a nicer one.

2. Petriotics

What they do: Pet supplies: food, treats, toys, accessories

If you’ve ever tried to find decent cat food in Beirut in a pinch, you understand why Petriotics exists. They’ve been delivering pet supplies nationwide since 2016, and they’ve built a borderline cult following for it. Their thing is speed (some customers report two-hour deliveries), eco-friendly packaging, and a weirdly endearing habit of throwing in a human-friendly treat with every order. They’re basically the friend who always brings something for you and your dog.

3. Alexa Fine Jewelry

What they do: 18K gold jewelry with diamonds: rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets

Fourth-generation jewelers. Siblings Alex and Elena run this from their own atelier in Beirut, and every piece is handmade in-house. The aesthetic is dainty minimalism (think Scandinavian restraint meets subtle Middle Eastern detail). No retail markup, which is their whole pitch: you’re buying direct from the people who actually made the thing. They ship worldwide and they’ve landed on multi-brand platforms in Dubai, which is saying something for a family operation.

4. SohatiCare

What they do: Online parapharmacy: dermo-cosmetics, personal care, wellness

SohatiCare came out of Sohati.com and turned itself into Lebanon’s go-to online parapharmacy. All the brands you’d find behind a pharmacy counter, Avène, La Roche-Posay, Bioderma, Vichy, but without the dicey parking situation. Everything is certified and sourced from accredited distributors, and they also have accredited experts on call for product advice. Free delivery in Lebanon.

5. 209 Lebanese Wine

What they do: Online wine platform: exclusively Lebanese wineries

Lebanon produces about 8.5 million bottles of wine a year from over 60 wineries, and most of us can name maybe five of them. That’s the gap 209 set out to fix when Selim Yasmine launched the platform in late 2016. It’s the first online store dedicated entirely to Lebanese wine: every region, every winery, including the smaller producers whose bottles you’ll never find at your local supermarket. They position themselves as an online sommelier: tell them what you like, what you’re eating, what you’re spending, and they’ll point you to a bottle.

6. The Medaid

What they do: Everything: health, beauty, supplements, baby care, home, fitness, electronics

The Medaid is ambitious. They claim over a million products, which sounds like a stretch until you actually browse the site and find yourself looking at a Ninja air fryer next to baby probiotics next to an Adidas Samba. The play here is sourcing internationally and delivering locally, bridging the gap between “I saw this on Amazon” and “nobody ships it to Lebanon.” Based in Beirut, they accept card payments, Whish, and PayPal, and they’ll source specific items on request.

7. Buyrouth

What they do: Lifestyle marketplace: electronics, home, beauty, fitness, office, gadgets

Buyrouth is the store you end up on when you’re looking for one specific thing and leave with six. Electronics, phone cases, fitness gear, incense burners, office supplies…it is a curated grab-bag that somehow holds together. Free shipping on orders over $40, and they ship globally.

8. Câlin

What they do: Women’s underwear and bras: comfort-first intimates

Câlin’s whole thing is that sexy shouldn’t mean uncomfortable. Their product line is streamlined and intentional: the NoBra, the NoGap, Feather Shorts, Wing Shorts, all designed in-house and expertly engineered for specific body shapes rather than just scaling one sample up and down. They back up their promises with a 30-day money-back guarantee and easy exchanges.

9. Exotica

What they do: Flowers, plants, and curated gift bundles — same-day delivery across Lebanon

Exotica has been part of the Lebanese gifting landscape since 1978, which means they’ve been arranging bouquets for almost 50 years. Alongside their physical stores and plant nurseries, they run a parallel operation on Shopify and have made it embarrassingly easy to handle a last-minute birthday, a forgotten anniversary, or a “thinking of you” that’s really an apology.

10. Loolia Closet

What they do: Premium beauty retail (skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrances)

Loolia Closet carved out its own lane by building curated “closets” in the form of dedicated e-shops for prominent influencers stocked with their actual picks and recommendations. The influencer gets a real shopfront, and the customer gets a browsing experience that feels more like a trusted recommendation than a product wall. The catalog is deep…Lancôme, Clinique, Shiseido, Benefit, The Ordinary, and K-Beauty faves, all with free shipping over $30 and their own branded accessories.
