#NowPlaying: Stouh Adonis Remix by Jade

DJ Jade released a remix today of the song, “Stouh Adonis,” off Arabic folk band Adonis’ debut album, Daw el Baladiyyi. And it’s awesome.

Anthony Khoury, lead vocalist and composer, gave us the inside scoop:

“Originally the band had approached Jade to close for them after their June 14 concert in Jbeil. However, after Jade listened to the music… he decided to do more than that.”

On the night of the performance, Jade introduced the “Stouh” remix and is now offering up the track on his Poolness Summer 2012 album.
