So reads a cardboard sign made by a cute old man in the streets of Beirut. Thanks to @RandaChahine for tweeting this pic!
With an oud in hand and a fez on head, his message is a noble one that strikes the heart-chords of many a passerby.
Roughly translated, the adorable poem reads: I want to sing so I can live/ I don't have a job in my hands/ Pass by to hear a song/ I'll sing for you just for a little tip.
So if you ever see him in the Sassine area, spend a minute or two and hear his songs. Let us know how he sounds!
