Up & Away: Fantasyland for Kids

This morning I posted an article entitled “A Beauty Spa… for Children.” I instinctively thought that it was a terrible idea…beautifying children to prepare them for a life of superficiality.

Little did I know that “Dolled Up” isn’t really a spa. It’s part of a kids’ playground at Le Mall called “Up & Away,” home to a mini-construction site, a boys barber shop and the previously mentioned girl’s spa.

Looking through the pictures, I’ve changed my mind. It looks like Up & Away is focusing on the enjoyment of children above all, and a little girl-time couldn’t hurt. I mean they could always go to the construction site next door afterwards, no biggie.
