Lebanese Forces Support KAFA

In a moving tribute to KAFA’s mission of awareness and eradication of abuse towards women and children, several members of the Lebanese forces have been
photographed openly supporting their cause.

Over 1,000 members of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces will wear a white ribbon supporting KAFA, beginning today and ending on December 10. Wearing a color of peace and serenity, the Internal Security Forces have thus pledged to oppose domestic and gender-directed violence, as well as assure their commitment to providing protection to those in need.

Totally heart-warming and totally necessary, this act is especially noteworthy in a country where domestic abuse is still commonly overlooked. A gigantic salute to the Internal Security Forces for their bold humanitarian move. Respect.
