Saida Is Officially Under Water

No joke.

Last week’s beautiful 20-something degree weather has gone—and with it—my ability to feel my fingers. Instead we’ve been blessed with torrential rain, terrible traffic and thunder that makes you jump like a 5-year-old girl.

Just check out these pictures of Saida, and you’ll see what I mean. And I bet you thought Beirut was bad.

So I hope you all stay indoors and make the most of this weather. It’s the perfect time for a fireplace, a book and a nice hot chocolate. Just try not to scream every time you hear the thunder. (And I’m trying really hard).
