The Wanton Bishops Live at Metro Al Madina

Join Metro Al Madina as it hosts Lebanese Blues band The Wanton Bishops in their first live performance in the Metro. The concert will also include a DJ Set by the godfather of the Lebanese indie music scene, Ziad Nawfal.

The Wanton Bishops are a two-piece Blues and Garage Rock Revival band from Beirut. The band is made up of Nader (vocals, harmonica, guitar, keyboards) and Eddy (lead guitar, backing vocals, banjo), who are joined on stage by a drummer and bassist.

With influences as diverse as Delta Blues and the English Rock’n’Roll scene of the late 60’s, The Wanton Bishops have crafted a sound that Rolling Stone magazine has called a “blend of infectious, raw, bluesy rock” that is “utterly convincing.”
