Sunday, Apr 28, 2013
9:00am -> 6:00pm
Chateau Kefraya

Join Adventures in Lebanon with your families and friends in a different tour experience to discover and taste the best of Bekaa wineries. Grown from vineyards that have thrived on the Lebanese soil, come revel in the fact that Lebanon is one of oldest wine producers in the world.

The journey will start with a visit to the famous Ksara caves discovered by monks, and then proceed to the wine tasting. Members can also take a small hike between the grapes and vineyards of Ksara.

The second stop will be at Clos St. Thomas in Ab Elias, one of the most refined wineries known for the quality of its fine wine, and winner of several Gold awards. You will be coached by the owner himself on wine production and preserving techniques and will be visiting the cellars–before you conclude the visit with an exquisite wine tasting.

The third stop will be at Château Kefraya. The quality of its products has been recognized and certified by the number and the prestige of the awards they received in international blind-tasting competitions. You will visit the cellars, and then move to learn the techniques of wine production and taste Kefraya’s best selections.

You will conclude this exceptional journey with an open premium lunch of mezze and grills and open soft drinks in a spectacular location (ideal for families with kids).

Participation fee: $50 including bus transportation, insurance, wineries and distilleries visits, wine tastings, open supreme lunch, and instructors.

Meeting point is in Futuroscope parking, Sin El Fil (Facing Hilton hotel) at 9:00 a.m.
