DAMJ Workshop Opening

DAMJ workshop is a design and fabrication space specializing in furniture, architecture, electronics and music. Based in a vaulted carpentry shop underneath the Gemmayzeh district, the space is a collaboration between master carpenter Joseph Haddad and architect Ahmad Khouja.

Whether for building or repairing antiques, designing furniture prototypes, or teaching classes in West-African percussion, the shop is a merger of multiple crafts. The official opening and ‘shop-warming’ event on June 25 will be an opportunity to explore the space, view new and old work by Ahmad, eat fresh fish caught by Joseph, as well as to enjoy drinks and live music. Join them in celebrating this truly unique space.
