Yoga: The Iyengar Way at NOK Yoga Shala

Join NOK Yoga Shala as it hosts a yoga workshop on the Iyengar way. The purpose of this workshop is to introduce the method of one of India’s most famous living yogis: B. K. S. Iyengar.

Throughout the workshop, students will become aware of their body alignment and apply it to yoga asanas, as well as be able to use this knowledge in all daily activities and body movements. Through proper body alignment and posture, students can safely gain better flexibility and less injuries, can build tremendous physical strength, reverse and prevent osteoporosis, create space for our body organs, and restore our minds to simplicity and peace.

The workshop is a practical yoga class. It is beneficial for all levels but especially yoga students who want to improve and strengthen their yoga practice.
