Positive and negative stress are a constant influence on all of our lives. The trick is to maximize the positive stress and to minimize the negative stress. Participants will be shown how stress can be positive and negative, and the Triple A approach will be thoroughly studied, as it will be the basis of the Stress Management Workshop.

The workshop covers:
-Identifying the best approach to a stressful situation (Alter, Avoid, or Accept)
-Understanding what lifestyle elements you can change to reduce stress
-Using routines to reduce stress
-Using environmental and physical relaxation techniques
-Better coping with major events
-Using a stress log to identify stressors and creating a plan to reduce or eliminate them
