Kassem Istanbouli’s commitment, with his social and political reality, leads him to bring his theater performances not only to conventional theaters but also to the streets and to open spaces, where physical and natural environments become an inherent part of the play, where real people can share these theatrical experiences.
Kassem Istanbouli has created his theater company, Istanbouli Theatre, and through it, has directed six main theatrical works, that have been performed in different stages and open spaces at Lebanon and also in other Arabic speaking countries, as well as Spain and Europe.
