C U NXT SAT Presents Safar Live at the Grand Factory

C U NXT SAT has the pleasure to host one of the top homegrown bands to hit the local scene: Safar.

Safar is an indie-pop band from Beirut. They released their debut EP, “23 Kilograms” in January 2015, which was recorded and produced at Tunefork Studios.

At times “disarmingly sweet” and “quirky”, at others “emotional” and “graceful”, their music speaks of love, exile, contradictions and dreams: “The blend of Mayssa Jallad’s soaring vocals and on-the-button choices of melody lines alongside Elie Abdelnour’s subtle, understated guitar is balanced beautifully to create a warm, melancholic, intimate atmosphere that’s truly engaging.”
