‘In-Harmony’ – A Multi Sensorial Experience

By creating environments where light, sound, smell, taste, and touch unite harmoniously, our senses are aroused positively, helping us build pleasant mental imprints of such environments. On the occasion of Beirut Design Week 2015, In-Harmony invites you to be part of a multi-sensorial experience which aims at transforming indoor living spaces through a harmonious collaboration of sense-inducing elements.

In-Harmony is the collaboration of a group of designers coming from various sensorial backgrounds:

Ghassan Salameh Studio
Ghassan Salameh’s Studio is an interdisciplinary conceptual and solution oriented design studio, with projects occupying an in-between space between product design and conceptual art.

Contemporary and experimental, their work is inspired by details from daily life, often unnoticed yet crucial in shaping experiences. More importantly, it pays tribute to local traditional craftsmanship and presents it with new possibilities to create new complexities of form and technique and opening it to new territory; that each object designed and produced is a celebration of a successful marriage of concept and labor, a fusion of creativity, expertise, history, technology and method.

21dB
21dB is an acoustics consultancy firm established to offer solutions to bad acoustics. Their team provides services in architectural acoustics, acoustic engineering and specialised audio solutions.

From your private quarters all the way up to performance spaces, they create beautifully sounding environments and pleasant sensorial experiences for outdoor and indoor spaces.

Green Studios
Greenstudios fuses landscape architecture with cutting edge technology into one thinking process to create new green solutions for urban contexts.

This new approach called ‘Mutated landscapes’ relies on a proprietary flexible hydroponic skin that hosts plants and allows them to thrive in places where greenery was once thought impossible.
