An Arabic reggae style rich with melodies and changes that takes reggae to a different direction is what makes Rabih and the playmates unique in a kind.
The Playmates play Arab reggae. The band was originally formed in 2010 by Rabih Aouad, the guitarist and vocalist who also writes all the music, and they released their first album, “Rabih and the playmates” in 2014. Rabih had previously recorded two solo albums, “Coma” (2000), and “Sultansystem” (2006, released by EMI Arabia). While preparing for their next album, the band is currently performing in Lebanon and planning for a tour in Europe. Their music is melodically rich and varied.
