Bonjour, Paris! Swiss Butter Opens Its First Branch in France

Lebanon’s beloved neighborhood steakhouse is now bringing its signature Swiss Butter sauce to the heart of Paris.

Now open at 13 Rue du Faubourg Montmartre in Paris’ 9th arrondissement, the new location marks Swiss Butter’s first foray into France and its 21st restaurant worldwide, bringing its signature steak, fries, and famously rich butter sauce to the French capital.

The Beirut-born restaurant opened its doors in 2017 and has since expanded across Lebanon and the Arab region, taking its signature steak to London and Madrid. The Paris opening feels particularly fitting, given how closely the concept ties into the classic French steak-frites format.

It’s great to watch a Beirut-born restaurant make its way into one of the world’s biggest food cities.

We’re sure Parisians will be lining up to try it, but not before all the Lebanese people in Paris who are craving a taste of home.
