End of Life Care: To Care is to Dare!

The Salim El-Hoss Bioethics and Professionalism Program at AUB-FM invites you to attend a lecture as part of its Ethics Matters initiative entitled “End of Life Care: To Care is to Dare!” by Salah Zeineldine, MD, FACP. Internal CME points credited.
Abstract: Is there good death and bad death? How can health care professionals improve the inevitable death experience for patients and families? What are the barriers? Can it be taught to young trainees?
The talk will also cover the approach for the relief of symptoms and suffering. Finally, it will address the issue of the need and benefits of Hospice Care.
