Beirut Municipality Says Cola Bridge Is Safe After Parts Collapsed
On Tuesday April 17, a truck hit the edge of the already pretty bad Cola bridge and caused parts of it to crumble to the streets below.
The Beirut municipality sent a team of engineers to check out the site and determine whether or not the bridge was safe to use and released a statement saying that the damage that occurred was simply aesthetic, deeming the bridge safe for citizens to use.
