Watch The Eta Aquarid Meteor Shower This Weekend While You Camp Out In The Forests Of Chouf

Do you feel like doing something different this weekend? Eta Aquarid meteor shower will be lighting up Lebanon’s skies on Sunday.

The Eta Aquarids will peak on May 6, but will be most visible in the early morning on May 7, just before dawn.

The team at Cedars Ground Campsite has organized a stargazing night at their breathtaking grounds in Chouf. So bring your jackets, your loved ones, and get ready for a night of stargazing and fantastic spark showers, all from the comfort of your own tent.

Here’s the event pricing:
Access to campsite + 1 camping night (doesn’t include tent): 25,000 LBP
Camping equipment rental (tent fits up to 3 people + mattresses): 30,000 LBP

Making it a mere 35,000 LBP for one person if you’re a group of 3 or 40,000 LBP per person if you’re a couple. And, if you feel like having a local breakfast the next day, you can opt for the open formula of fresh orange juice, tea, manakesh and fresh vegetables for 7,500 LBP.
