Lebanon, You Won’t Believe Where This French Artist Is Going
World renowned French artist Freddish is landing in Beirut sooner than you think! The street-artist will perform exclusively in Lebanon’s most multifunctional space, The Koozpace. Visitors will witness Freddish reviving recycled material into huge steel installations that are sure to wow.
Get the chance to experience the world of sci-fi first-hand on May 2nd at 7 P.M at The Koozpace. The French Gallery Marie Demange will also temporarily showcase a dozen of his graffiti creations until the 11th of May.
Among the first of urban artists to exhibit their work in the Salon D’automne in Paris, Freddish has worked with artists, bands and rappers who performed in Olympia, Cigale or the grand hall of la Villette. Freddish continuously draws his artistic inspiration from the 1980s to 2000s whether it be hip-hop, manga, cartoon characters, and the like.
Emerging street artists in Lebanon will particularly enjoy the two-day masterclass Freddish is planning on hosting. Working on a mural, managing their creative space, and mastering techniques are on the program.
What brings this internationally renowned artist to the middle of Yarzeh, you ask? The answer would be, The Koozpace, a multi-function space centered around productivity and creativity.
