Beirut Public Parks Closed Down Amidst Coronavirus Fears
Yet another honorable effort by Lebanese authorities to help contain the coronavirus outbreak.
Shortly after deciding to close down the parliament, Beirut public parks are next on the list.
The decision was approved by Beirut Governor Judge Ziad Chebib and will include public parks like Horsh Beirut and Sanayeh Garden.
Never mind the dozens of institutions that are still functioning on a daily basis and all the outings that Lebanese people have yet to give up on.. at least the parks – that barely anyone ever went to – are closed now.
