“Ana Mish Kafir”: Top Trending Hashtag On Twitter

In response to the heartbreaking death of Ali El Haq, Twitter users launched a hashtag that reads “Ana Mish Kafir”, or “I am not a sinner”. This statement was left as a heartbreaking suicide note by Ali, alongside a copy of his clear criminal record and a Lebanese flag.

Users are blaming politicians for the dire economic situation that the country is currently facing, which has taken a toll on all of us.

Another suicide today. What did this person do wrong? All he did was demand his most basic rights and needs.
