Stray Chicken Causes Chaos At Lebanon’s Southern Border

A rogue hen in the Southern town of Mais al Jabal had created a slight state of panic along the border yesterday, when it wandered past Lebanese land.

She had escaped from a young Lebanese boy named Hussein who began chasing his pet across the border, attempting to retrieve her.

In response to the commotion, warning shots were fired from across and troops were mobilized.

This didn’t deter the boy, who kept repeating “bade djejte”, a phrase that then went viral on social media.

Thankfully, Hussein was able to retrieve his pet chicken and take her back home.
