After Coming Out As Anti-Vax. Carole Samaha Reveals She’s Anti-Feminist
Apparently, Lebanese celebrities do not only have the audacity to give their *expert* opinions about vaccines, but also take it upon themselves to undermine social and political movements like feminism through sheer ridiculous misunderstandings.
In a recent interview that was aired on “It’s Showtime”, singer, self-proclaimed doctor, and anti-feminist Carole Samaha clarified (because it seems that it was unclear to many of us) what feminism REALLY means.
Ladies and gentlemen, it looks like feminism is NOT a social and political movement that aims to grant women of all races, sexualities, abilities, and economic status equal opportunities and rights.
According to Samaha, being a feminist actually means women have to pay all the bills. It’s THAT simple.
And according to Carole, women’s biological differences from men are grounds to strip them of their equality.
Not only does Carole support a misogynistic viewpoint on the social relationship between men and women, but she also believes that women’s inferiority is natural and “biologically” pre-determined.
What makes this situation all the more ridiculous is that Carole took the initiative to rewrite the Lebanese national anthem back in 2019 to be inclusive to women as an ode to the strong female voices leading the October 17 protests. Psst…that was a really dumb take on feminism.
