Enjoy Olive Picking, A Rural Lunch, And Guesthouse Stay This Weekend!

Feel like doing something quintessentially autumnal? A fun olive-filled event awaits this weekend!

This Saturday, head to the scenic olive groves in Chabtine, North Lebanon for a retreat in nature. Hosted and organized by the beautiful Dar Nour Chabtine guesthouse, this overnight trip has all the fixings for a memorable October weekend.

Your day will begin with a delicious lunch hosted on Dar Nour’s beautiful terrace surrounded by oak and olive trees, where you will be able to feast on a variety of freshly-made local dishes.

After that, head to the olive press mill while you digest and learn all about the art of picking and pressing olives. Afterwards, walk around and visit the ethnographic museum and old mills in the town, and be sure to check out the old monasteries in the vicinity.

Head back to Dar Nour for a rustic village-style dinner that you will help make yourself before you call it a night in one of their beautiful traditional rooms.

The next day, wake up and recharge before hitting the road to Bchaaleh and Douma for sightseeing and more fun!

Price is 900,000 LL per person for:

– Your stay in one double room (per person)
– Olive picking experience
– Lunch, afternoon tea with snacks, and dinner on Saturday
– Access and guided tours to the museums, sanctuaries, and olive press
