Lebanese Toum Ranked Best Dip in the World!

For the second year in a row, Lebanon is taking over the list of best dips in the world. TasteAtlas just dropped their list of 50 best dips in the world, and Lebanese toum is topping the list.

Last year, the top three ranking comprised of Mtabbal (#1), Toum (#2), and Hummus Beiruti (#3). And although mtabbal and hummus dropped a few ranks since last year, it comes as no surprise that toum topped this year’s list. Even though none of these are exactly “dips”, we’re still going to have our own little celebration over Lebanese cuisine getting the recognition it deserves.

Mtabbal is now ranked at #7. Hummus Beiruti, Hummus Kawarma, and Baba Ghanoush (which is literally mtabbal) are in the 15th, 16th, and 17th spots. Maybe mtabbal is so good it needed to be ranked twice?
