Beirut’s 5th annual Night of the Museums will be taking place in just a few days. Organized by the Lebanese Ministry of Culture, this year’s night of cultural discovery will take place on 14 April, from 5 – 11 PM, with the exception of three museums; The Sursock Museum will be open from 5 – 9 PM, Ethnographic Museum of the University of Balamand and The AUB Archaeology Museum will be open from 5 – 10 PM. You’ll be able to have free access to numerous museums around the country. Free shuttle service will also be available every thirty minutes, for those who are interested in visiting all of the 13 participating museums.
So, mark your calendars for the evening of April 14, and head down to the following museums for a night of pure cultural insight.
Beirut National Museum (Mathaf) MIM Museum, Museum of Minerals, USJ Musée de Préhistoire Libanaise, USJ Villa Audi Sursock Museum The AUB Archaeology Museum Museum of the Bank of Lebanon, Sanayeh Saida Cultural Trail This cultural trail will include a visit to Saida’s famous Soap Museum, as well as through
Palais Debanne, Khan Sacy, Khan El-Ifranj, and Kasr Ola.
