Flight With All-Female Crew, For The First Time In Lebanon

Small victories that go a long way.

Last night, Lebanon’s favorite and first female pilot Captain Rola Hoteit shared a picture of an all-female crew on one of her flights, marking a milestone for Lebanese women.

This was the very first flight that was completely composed of women on the crew and the commemorative picture went viral on social media.

Captain Hoteit was the first Lebanese female pilot in the Middle East Airlines for 19 years, and last year, MEA announced that more women will be joining their crew and were undergoing the designated training.

We’re extremely proud of these competent women, and we hope the Lebanese law and society start doing women justice.
