Marche Aux Puces: Lebanese Flea Market For Those Itching For A Deal

Some trends come and go, but the Lebanese love for the vintage aesthetic has always stuck – whether through nostalgia or a thrifty urban attitude common among the youth.

This festive season, Marche Aux Puces, the hip Lebanese flea market, is holding a three-day event at Souk El Tayeb’s new stunning headquarters in Mar Mikhael.

Starting at 2 PM on the 16th of December until the 18th December at 8 PM, this is an event you don’t want to miss! Whether you’re looking for a new table, books, clothes, and maybe even a vinyl record, Le Marche aux Puces should have you covered for something that’s new to you.

Roam through countless vintage items, get lost browsing through stuff you didn’t even know you needed, and support local vendors. Heck, if you have some extra time on your hands, you could even pick out a piece and give it a new life by adding a touch of your personality to it.

The market is being hosted at a perfect time when money is tight and everyone is looking to spread joy in what will hopefully be a source of cheer. Put a smile on the face of your loved ones and the vendors by shopping ethically and economically.

Just make sure to keep your mask on and social distance. You can also enjoy happy hour at Mar Mikhael in the afternoon, and maybe even pass by Tawlet to support this week’s chefs!
