The Viral Beirut Chocolate Is Finally Coming to Lebanon!

Remember the viral Beirut Chocolate Bar that took over our feed a few months back? It’s back—and it’s getting an official launch. Starting Saturday, May 10, you can finally get your hands on it at Le Noir branches in Broumana and Naccache!

This isn’t just any chocolate. It’s a nostalgic, stamp-shaped bar crafted by Lebanese-Australian pastry chef Philippe Khoury—a viral hit that was supposed to be a one-off charity project.

After it garnered millions of views from all over the world, the quiet tribute to Lebanon turned into something way bigger than expected—a bar everyone suddenly wanted a piece of.

On Instagram, he wrote about his return to Beirut for the official launch of the chocolate bar:

“I’m heading to Beirut this week to launch something that’s come to mean more to me than I ever expected (…) it took on a life of its own. Millions of views. Thousands of messages and requests from all over the world. I never imagined it would resonate like that.”

In an interview with An-Nahar, he shared how the idea came together during a fundraiser after the war in Lebanon.

If you missed it the first time: this isn’t some gimmicky trend. The bar is shaped like a vintage Lebanese postage stamp, sealed with a London postmark. The filling? Caramel with orange blossom, twice-baked baklawa crunch, cashew crème, and almond milk chocolate. It’s rich, balanced, and entirely plant-based.

The award-winning pastry chef did not disappoint with this love letter to Beirut. And now we can finally get our hands on it!
