This Beirut Spot is Inspired by Every 2000s Kid’s Favorite Game

If you grew up in the 2000s, you know that certain games weren’t just ways to kill time. They were a huge part of our childhood. Who remembers Papa’s Taco Mia? There’s a spot in Beirut inspired by this iconic game, and it’s called Papa’s Mia Tacos.

We all remember literally salivating over our computers wanting a taste of those tacos, and this family-owned spot turned this dream into a reality.

What’s on the menu?

Nachos, guac, corn on the cob, burritos, quesadillas, and of course, tacos. Their bites are reasonably priced, making it easy to try a bit of everything without breaking the bank. We think it’s the perfect place to order from if you’re with a group of friends who are craving some Mexican.

They serve up five different tacos, including beef, chicken, breaded chicken, shrimp, and vegan. One taco will run you $5.5 (and only $5 for the vegan taco), but if you mix and match two, you can get both for $10. And you have the option to boost your meal to get your taco with fries, a soft drink, or nachos and guac, all for less than $10.

Taco Tuesdays

Does it even count as a taqueria if it doesn’t have Taco Tuesdays? You can get your tacos for half off if you make orders on Tuesdays, so you and your friends could easily turn this into a tradition.

But honestly, we think their burritos are also worth a try. Made with tortilla bread, black beans, Mexican rice, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, and sriracha mayo. It’s basically a taco but bigger, a bit messier, and more satisfying to bite into.
