If you’ve been looking for different ways to act like a tourist in your own country, there’s a new way to explore one of Lebanon’s oldest cities.
Jbeil has officially launched “Byblos Panorama,” a new sightseeing experience featuring electric double-decker buses that take visitors around the city’s most iconic landmarks.
The project was launched under the patronage of Minister of Tourism Laura Lahoud in collaboration with the Municipality of Jbeil and the Himilco Tourism Development Association.
The buses offer panoramic tours across the city, giving passengers a different perspective of Jbeil’s historic streets, ancient ruins, harbor, and old souks.
Guided commentary is available in five languages, making the experience accessible to both locals and international visitors.
What makes the initiative stand out is its focus on sustainability. The buses are fully electric, offering a more environmentally friendly way to discover the city while reducing emissions. And no, they won’t stop working eza n2ata3et l kahraba…
