After months of anticipation, one of Tyre’s most iconic seaside destinations is officially welcoming visitors once again. Rest House Tyr has announced its return for Summer 2026, marking another hopeful milestone in the city’s recovery.

The resort will be open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM, giving visitors plenty of time to enjoy one of Lebanon’s most cherished stretches of coastline.

Beach entrance fees

You can expect the following entrance rates:

Monday to Saturday: $16 for adults and $11 for children under 12

Sunday: $20 for adults and $14 for children under 12

For those planning to spend the season by the sea, seasonal memberships are also available:

Adults: $333
Children under 12: $195

Rest House Tyr has long been woven into Tyre’s summer memories. Since the mid-1990s, it’s been the backdrop for beach days, family outings, weddings, and countless sunsets by the sea.

The reopening comes as Tyre slowly welcomes summer back after months of war, displacement, and destruction. With beach tents returning to the public shore and Rest House Tyr reopening its doors, the city is beginning to reclaim a season that, not long ago, seemed out of reach.
