Saida Pays Tribute To Revolution Martyr Alaa Abou Fakher

Shortly after the heart-wrenching death of Alaa Abou Fakher, a Lebanese father of three who was shot in front of his wife and son, protestors across Lebanon were quick to mourn the martyr and honor his memory.

But the most beautiful tribute of all goes to Saida, where protestors spelled out Alaa’s name with their bodies, holding up their flashlights.

From up above, their tribute reads: “علاء فخر الثورة”, which translates into “Alaa is the pride of the revolution”. And indeed he is.

Rest in power Alaa, and our deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones.
