MP’s Convoy Barrels Through Protestors Outside Parliament
At approximately 9:40 AM, an unknown member of parliament’s convoy barreled through protestors gathered near the parliament to protest this morning’s parliamentary session.
The same convoy fired shots in the air to clear protestors, you can see the troubling videos below. It was not confirmed which MP the car belonged to, but people on the ground were saying it was the Minister of Finance, Ali Hassan Khalil’s. Khalil had been one of five MPs present at parliament. Khalil denied the allegation, saying he was at his office at the time.
