Minister El Hassan: “Security Forces Are Tired And Not Sleeping”
In a statement to press outside the Ministry of Interior, Raya el Hassan semi-condemned/semi-condoned police actions against the members of media and press that took place last night and said,

“I want to say that the police and security members are tired. Is this an excuse? No it is not but the members are tired and are concerned for their own wellbeing just like you are concerned for yours. They are working at 90 to 100 percent readiness, they are not sleeping or resting, they are getting pelted with rocks and metal….put yourselves in their place for just a moment….I take responsibility because I am the head of the pyramid, but I did not give the command…”
