After the iconic
Le Bristol Hotel said goodbye to Beirut, we were so sad to hear that
Hotel Alexandre was also closing its doors.
Located in Achrafieh, the hotel first opened in 1966 and has been a landmark in the area. It was renovated in 1997.
The seven-story hotel was proud to have remained open throughout the grueling days of the Lebanese civil war only to close today.
It is heartbreaking to think of how many people lost their jobs, and how many other institutions we will see closing down during these unbelievable times.
