Power Generators Catch Fire In Sour Last Night

According to the National News Agency, several power generators caught fire in Sour, South Lebanon last night, belonging to the “Hamto Foundation”.

The fire was immediately put out by civil defense forces, leaving several neighborhoods in the Southern city in complete darkness.

Lebanon has been witnessing massive power cuts for nearly two weeks now, reportedly due to a shortage of fuel. Citizens have been relying on generators to provide them with electricity for the most part, which are also in risk of being overworked and shutting down due to the fuel shortage.

With no sustainable solutions in sight and only empty promises about reform, it’s hard to anticipate when this will end.
