ISF Arrest Magic Mushroom Dealers In Lebanon

An official statement released by Internal Security Forces in Saida announced the arrest of a notorious magic mushrooms dealer in Lebanon, who had been growing the substance in the comfort of his own home in Zebdine, Nabatieh.

During the interrogation process, the suspect (identified as M.K.) admitted to smoking weed, as well as ingesting cocaine and narcotic pills. And upon searching his house, he was found to be actively growing magic mushrooms in his apartment, an apartment that was heavily equipped for cultivation of the drug. Honestly, it’s kinda impressive and looked like a scene from Breaking Bad.

M.K. also admitted to purchasing the magic mushroom seeds from another dealer (R.H.M.), who was arrested from his home in Tyre. His apartment – still under construction – was also raided and sealed with red wax upon discovering that it is home to a farm and laboratory used for the preparation of the magic mushroom seeds. R.H.M. admitted to dealing the drug to a number of people across Lebanon, especially in private parties.

Magic mushrooms or psilocybin mushrooms are psychedelics that have been proven to help people with anxiety and depression at low doses.

Both suspects are now under arrest. Bet they had a really “bad trip” to the police station.
