While We Crash And Burn, Marwan Kheireddine Purchases $9.9 Million NYC Penthouse

You remember when we told you about the Lebanese Minister who loves to hunt animals for fun? Here’s a refresher:

Well, Marwan Kheireddine strikes again! The banker, ex minister, and financier extraordinaire has purchased Jennifer Lawrence’s NYC penthouse for a whopping 9.9 million dollars. Here are some photos of what he bought with our money.

Look at that beautiful skyline, a feature Lebanese politicians have made sure we don’t enjoy in Beirut:

Notice how the house is intact without any state negligence threatening it?

Kheireddine is the chairman and CEO of Al Mawarid bank in Lebanon, a bank that has trapped depositors’ money and blocked international transfers. Lawrence took a staggering $5.7 million loss on the sale, so a Lebanese banker screws yet another person!

News of Marwan’s new investment surfaced the same day a massive explosion rocked Beirut and decimated a large part of the city. Lebanon must now figure out how to rebuild a port, an economy, and homes for 300,000 citizens.

The apartment comes with common charges of over $5,700 month as well as taxes and insurance that surmount to $100,000 a year. Lebanon, the country where Kheireddine was a dutiful public servant, is currently in the midst of its worst economic crisis and an unprecedented dollar shortage.

Meanwhile, Lebanon is trying to pick up the pieces after gross state level negligence.

But hey, you make sure you enjoy your outdoor space!

Meanwhile in NYC, some good samaritans have taken it upon themselves to hang up the following signs near his spanking new apartment: “Marwan Kheireddine bought a penthouse on this block with the blood, sweat and tears of the Lebanese people”.

ENJOY THE PENTHOUSE, MARWAN.
