Fight Over Food Leaves One Dead, Two Injured In Tripoli
The first day of Ramadan saw a horrific incident in the Northern city of Tripoli when a fight over food portions resulted in the death of Karim Muheiddine and the injuring of two others.
The fight broke out after an altercation over the distribution of food rations by a local unnamed organization. After the fight, citizens stormed the warehouse and confiscated the food rations.
The killer has since been arrested by security forces.
This comes at possibly the most horrific economic crisis Lebanon has seen as of yet, with inflation and unemployment skyrocketing and no end for the crisis in sight.
