Water Supply System “On Verge Of Collapse” In Lebanon

According to statements made by UNICEF, fuel and currency shortages could result in the collapse of Lebanon’s water system in just a month.

“More than four million people, including one million refugees, are at immediate risk of losing access to safe water in Lebanon,” UNICEF said, going on to add that “UNICEF estimates that most water pumping will gradually cease across the country in the next four to six weeks”.

Hospitals around the country have already sounded the alarm repeatedly, stating that they are on the brink of collapse as they run out of diesel to fuel generators.
This, compounded with Lebanon’s never-ending crises, is yet another thing we can thank our criminal politicians for.
